About the event
This large-scale event is a traditional Indigenous gathering with drumming, singing, dance, Indigenous teachings, and they are excited to host this event in their NWP space.
This is a free event for the community; all are welcome to attend.
This Round Dance is incorporating National Addiction Awareness Week; there is a special honour song for all those lost to addiction. If you have been personally affected by someone lost to addiction, please know that you are welcome to be included in this circle. Bring a framed picture of your loved one for the Honour Song. Although there is a serious part of the evening, the event is uplifting and encouraging all to be a strong connector in community. Ever heard of an apple dance? Come find out…
